Lightning Strike is an ornamental grass featuring bold yellow stripes. Blooming in early to mid-summer, it produces feathery, purplish-bronze flower spikes that turn to a golden tan as they mature. It can adapt to a variety of soils but prefers good drainage. Once established, they're relatively drought tolerant. Excellent for adding vertical interest to gardens or used in borders. It benefits from being cut back in early spring before new growth starts. Deer and rabbit resistant.
