Our potted plants and fresh flowers are available to pickup from our nursery - we are not able to ship those at this point in time. We also provide local delivery in the Oceanside and North Nanaimo area for our potted plants.
We also ship fall bulbs (October) & Lily Bulbs (March/April) to anyone across Canada via courier. You will find these items in the group ordering section of our website (Group Orders | Lakeside Garden Nursery).
If you live in Canada, you know that shipping isn't cheap. We ship different items via courier at different times during the year (See above "Do you ship?" for more information about what we ship).
Shipping costs are based on the item(s) that you order. Depending on what you order, you may see multiple shipping charges to your account at checkout.
Here's a breakdown of shipping costs:
Items that ship out in spring (Lily Bulbs):
$24.95
Items that ship out in fall (Fall Bulbs):
$24.95
Each group of items will incur separate shipping charges...
So for example, if you order $20 worth of Lily Bulbs (they ship out in spring), $30 worth of Tulip Bulbs (they ship out in fall), your shipping total will be:
- $24.95 (for the lily bulb shipment), plus
- $24.95 (for the fall tulip bulbs)

P.S. If you see a crazy high shipping charge of $300+, it's because you are asking us to ship something that we can't ship. We've added this super high shipping amount to catch your eye to remind you that we are not able to ship potted plants - they are available for pickup at the nursery and local delivery only. This saves us both the hassle of having to cancel your order.
We are usually open to welcome you to the nursery from mid-April to mid-July on Fridays 9am - 3pm and Saturdays 1pm-3pm. We are also open the same hours for the fall season of the mid to end of September. Our current hours are always posted on our hours page.
Everything we grow at the nursery, we grow ourselves... either from seed, cutings, division or tiny baby plant starts that we grow to full size. It's how we can offer such healthy, happy plants at such great prices!
