Appalachian Sedge has fine leaves that arch and form dense, low clumps of bright green foliage. This low-maintenance sedge requires little care beyond occasional watering, flourishing in partial to full shade. It's suitable for a variety of climates and can grow in a range of soil types, from dry, rocky soil to more fertile loam. This sedge is typically used in shaded garden areas, woodlands or as a groundcover. It's excellent for filling in spaces where other plants might struggle, particularly in dry shade.
