Bowman's Root features slender, upright reddish stems and lance-shaped leaves. In late spring to early summer, it produces loose clusters of dainty, star-shaped white flowers. It thrives in part shade and prefers moist, well-drained soil. Good for planting in woodland gardens and shaded border gardens. Benefits from mulching to retain moisture. Attracts bees and butterflies. Deer and rabbit resistant.
